Instead, their edgy synth laden art rock noir tempered with classic pop appeal won unanimous approval in sold out rooms across the country.Fans both new and old were seduced by the quartet’s innovative take on future glam, dark disco and pulsating new wave. In 1989 Ladytron may have been the instigators, but it was now clear that they had distanced themselves from the myriad of electro imitators that have since flooded the scene.Returning to Australia this June to take part in Luminous, the inaugural mid-year music festival at The Sydney Opera house curated by legendary artist and music producer Brian Eno, Ladytron will play two additional club shows in Brisbane and Melbourne once again bringing to life the sound and emotion of their latest studio release Velicifero.
